10 Latinos Make the Forbes Celebrity 100 List

Forbes recently released their Celebrity 100, which is an annual list celebrating the most powerful and wealthiest people in the entertainment industry. The list includes film and television actors, TV personalities, models, athletes, authors, musicians and comedians. Who makes the list is determined based on the celebrity’s earnings combined with their media visibility, social media power and overall influence.

The Black Eyed Peas were the highest ranked Latinos, coming in at #16 on the list with annual earnings of $61 million.

Two of our highest-profile athletes, including tennis whiz Rafael Nadal (ranked #46 with $31 million in earnings) and baseball player Alex Rodriguez (ranked at #49 with earnings of $35 million) cracked the top 50, Argentine soccer player Lionel Messi came in at #62 with an annual gross of $32 million.

We weren’t surprised to see Jennifer Lopez make the cut at #50 with $25 million in earnings. While the highest earning supermodel in the world, Brazilian bombshell Gisele Bundchen came in at #60 with $45 million. Cameron Diaz and Eva Longoria rounded out the list for Latinos on the Forbes Celebrity 100, sharing the #81 spot with only a small difference in their annual take (Diaz made $18 million and Longoria grossed $13 million).
