‘The Voice’ Producers Planning To Fire Christina Aguilera?

Christina Aguilera signed to be a part of the John de Mol created singing competition The Voice which debuted on NBC in April 2011. Christina, alongside other musicians Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green serve as judges and coaches, with Carson Daly as the show’s host.

X17 is reporting exclusively that the producers of ‘The Voice’ are planning to fire Christina who made $225,000 an episode in the debut season.  Christina has signed on for the second season but they have no intention of bringing her back the third season.

X17 further reports: “She doesn’t spend time with her contestants like she’s supposed to. She doesn’t participate. She spends most of her time on the set with her boyfriend.”

In June rumors were circulating that there were problems between Christina and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine on the set of “The Voice.” Christina who got the higher paycheck  rubbed Adam and Blake Shelton the wrong way with her diva,  media whore antics and they have ganged up against her.

So you never know!  No confirmation yet from The Voice or Christina’s rep.

Christina Aguilera to Sing at Michael Jackson Tribute Concert

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Motown veteran Smokey Robinson will perform at a Michael Jackson tribute concert in Britain in October, organizers announced on Thursday.

Several of the brothers of the late King of Pop also will take the stage, as well as British acts Leona Lewis, Craig David and pop band JLS.

Promoters of the Michael Forever concert said other big names would be announced later for the October 8 event at a stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

"We're delighted that such exciting and globally recognized acts have joined the line-up to pay tribute to a music legend...We'll be adding more amazing headliners in the days to come," Chris Hunt, president of concert promoter Global Live Events, said in a statement.

The concert, which has the backing of Jackson's mother Katherine and the singer's siblings LaToya, Tito, Jackie and Marlon, will be broadcast around the world in both 2D and 3D on pay television and into movie theaters. Proceeds will go to AIDS and other charities.

Fans are asked to register in advance for tickets, starting on Thursday, and to pledge a donation to charity.

The tribute concert in October follows a failed attempt by Jermaine Jackson to organize a similar event in Vienna in 2009 shortly after Michael Jackson's death in Los Angeles on June 25 from an overdose of the powerful anesthetic propofol.

The "Thriller" singer's personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, doctor is due to go on trial in Los Angeles in September for involuntary manslaughter.

Which Celebrity Coaches Will Return to 'The Voice'?

This week The Voice crowned its very first champ -- coach Adam Levine's protege Javier Colon. So, will the other three celebrity judges get another chance to pick a winner?

Yes they will! NBC has confirmed that Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Levine will all return for the singing competition's second season.

"Our fantastic coaches were integral to the tremendous success of The Voice this year and we are thrilled that they are all returning," Paul Telegdy, Executive Vice President of NBC, said in a statement. "We look forward to building season two and making The Voice an even greater experience for fans."

Unlike American Idol, where the identity of next season's third judge is still up in the air, the fabulous four from The Voice will be back to mold a new crop of aspiring singers into successful recording artists. And next season's winner will follow in the footsteps of Javier Colon, who beat out Dia Frampton, Vicci Martinez and Beverly McClellan to win a recording contract and $100,000 prize.

According to UsMagazine.com, a source says Aguilera is "is very excited" for the next season of the show. "It has been an amazing experience for her!"

The four judges obviously had some major chemistry and were a big part of why the show was so successful, so another season of the chair-spinners sounds good to us!
