Teen queen Selena Gomez has been hospitalized after falling ill on Thursday night.
Following her appearance on "The Tonight Show," the "Wizards of Waverly Place" actress complained of "nausea and an extreme headache" and was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital. Her rep told Us Weekly that the starlet is "currently undergoing routine tests."
During her show, Gomez told host Jay Leno that her mother approves of Selena's boyfriend Justin Bieber, and that he "passed the test." While commenters on the US Weekly article have already begun speculating on a possible pregnancy, we're wondering if the teen is feeling worn out from her recent whirlwind weeks full of traveling and awards shows.
Selena looked beautiful at Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards, where she rocked a Giambatista Valli dress with Casadei shoes. With her long brown hair, bronzed skin, smoky eyes, and minimal makeup, the young star certainly seemed to glow. We hope she didn't tire herself by staying out too late.
Just four days earlier, Selena was spotted with Bieber and his family, out and about near his home in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. The family grabbed lunch together at the Swiss Chalet, played with Bieber's young cousins, and even shot some hoops. According to one onlooker, they "looked likea one big happy family. They were all laughing and joking around. They couldn't have been happier."
Just days before, the lovebirds spent a week in Maui, Hawaii, where they engaged in some hot and heavy PDA. The two were spotted kissing on jet skis, while parasailing, at their hotel, and on the beach. The two even locked lips in the ocean, with Bieber holding Selena while she wrapped her legs around his waist.
The night before the duo headed to Hawaii, Gomez set viewers abuzz by planting a big wet one on Bieber at the Billboard Music Awards. Looking smoking hot in a black Dolce & Gabbana gown with a thigh-high slit and side cutouts, Gomez was photographed sitting next to Bieber with her hand on his thigh. It was a good night for the couple, since Justin took home six awards. When asked about his lady love, Beiber said happily, "she's amazing." We agree, and we hope she feels better soon!
