Salsa Circuit
Last night at the American Idol finale, there were several very special musical numbers with a lot of big stars: Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett and Bono and The Edge from U2 among them. We were treated all night to different musical genres, from metal to country and of course some pop, but perhaps one of the biggest highlights of the night came from judge Jennifer Lopez and her hubby, Marc Anthony, taking the stage in an electrifying salsa number, completely in Spanish.
The unique performance was quite entertaining, with Anthony joined by Sheila E. on percussions and several back up dancers. But by mid-song, his superstar wife came out ontage to "shake her thing". And by this, we mean it literally, as Miss Lopez at one point during the song turned her back to the audience and started shaking what her mama and God gave her, proving the former "fly girl" definitely still has it.
Marc and Jennifer had everyone in the audience on their feet after that amazing number that brought "fuego caliente" to the 'Idol' Season 10 finale.
