When I think of oatmeal, I always imagine mouthwatering cookies made with brown sugar, oatmeal and butter, or a berry streusel crusted with sugar and oatmeal crumbs as a topping. To me, oatmeal is one of those foods that brings back memories, especially the sweet smell coming out of the kitchen during the morning on weekends.
The best part is that, it is so good for you. Besides being nutritious and full of curative properties that will help you stay fit and healthy, it can also help you stay as pretty as you are now. Even that pesky pimple may be fixed with this magical ingredient.
Why is oatmeal magical? Some of this cereal’s benefits include the absorption of dirty particles off our skin and helps calm down irritations. It also prevents dehydration and thus, helps to keep the skin moist and protected. In essence, oatmeal helps to balance pretty much every type of skin. These are just a few of all the virtues surrounding this flaky goodness.
Your local grocery store may offer oatmeal in a variety of ways: from oatmeal flour to old-fashion rolled oats. I suggest getting the rolled oats and then using your blender to break them into a finer ingredient. While I have not done a scientific study, I think that breaking it into smaller oats will provide you with maximum benefit.
