How the Stars Apply Makeup for “Dancing With The Stars”

Makeup for ballroom competitions and dance shows like “Dancing with the stars” is dramatic and theatrical. The idea of the exaggerated makeup enables the women to be seen from many feet away, while still looking a diva.

You need to start with a clean moisturized face and then add your foundation. You then need to start creating a defined thin brow using a brown by Fear Me or your personal favorite.

Wet you eye shadow brush and use a gold color by Flawless Me or any other brand you might use. The moisture will actually create a smudge resistant base that will prevent makeup from running down your face when you sweat in competitions.

Hit you eye bone that is right below your eye brow with a smaller brush with white eye liner to give your eye depth and contrast. Use your crease brush on the crease of your eye using a darker color.

Use a smaller brush and add white to the inner corners of the eye. This helps brighten up the eye a gives the illusion that your eyes are farther apart. When applying eye liner, start with the outside edge pulling it taunt to make the application easier.

The video’s below show in detail how the stars would apply makeup for Dancing With The Stars.
