Pop singer Christina Aguilera was on hand at the Michael Jackson Tribute concert this weekend, where the diva performed in a costume that left a few tongues wagging.
The singer has been sporting a noticeably fuller figure lately, but following the performance, a slew of critics said the singer’s choice to don a leotard and fishnet tights, as well as several hair extensions was an incredibly poor one.The U.K. Daily Mail slammed her appearance under the headline “Now That’s Bad!”
Her blonde hair, which was filled out with long extensions, was matted mess and her skimpy corset and fishnets did little to flatter her very curvy figure,” the article read.
The story was one of countless others slamming the singer’s weight gain and disheveled appearance.
The 30-year-old singer performed “Dirty Diana” and “Smile” and earned rave reviews for the performances themselves, but her voice was overshadowed by the negative press from her new look.
