She has shed a whopping 70lbs in the past six months after giving birth to twins Moroccan and Monroe.
And Mariah Carey’s impressive weight loss is clear to see in a new photo in which she looks super slim and her stomach appears completely flat.
But is the singer's post-baby tum really as flat as it appears, or has the professionally shot photo benefited from a little help from the airbrush?
Wearing just a boob tube top and a low riding maxi skirt the singer revealed a very flat stomach devoid of stretch marks or any sign that she had given birth in recent months.
She has dropped an incredible 70lbs over recent months - with 40lbs being water lost due to her difficult pregnancy.
Conveniently, the 42-year-old mother-of-two unveiled her taut abs as it was announced that she was the new ambassador for diet company Jenny Craig.
The stunning photo saw her roll back the years revealing a body that would put ten years younger Britney Spears to shame.
But while she seemed keen to show off her stomach in the promotional shot, at the launch yesterday she kept it firmly under wraps in a slinky red dress with spaghetti-string straps.
Her new look was a marked contrast to her appearance at the start of the diet when she was much heavier.
The proud singer, now mother to Monroe and Morrocan has also graced the cover of Us Weekly magazine.
Wearing a very youthful outfit of white shorts and crop top she is pictured as part of an interview in which she reveals the low calorie diet plan which helped her beat the bulge.
She said she knew needed to lose weight after seeing a photograph of herself shortly after being visited by friend Reverend Al Sharpton in hospital.
'I looked at myself in the photo after and thought "Who on Earth is that?' Mind you, I thought I looked good at the time!'
Mariah began the regime with a 1500 calorie a day special menu and workouts three times a week.
'When I started, I got really strict with myself,' she told Us magazine.
'Losing weight is about eating what you like, just in the appropriate portion sizes. I wouldn't say it was really hard, but it required focus and determination.
'The first week, I lost 40 lbs of just water. It was just water, initially. When I started with the programme, I lost at least 30 lbs of weight that needed to be lost.'
She works out for 45 minutes five to six times a week with Sunday as a rest day doing a mixture of cardio and aquatic workouts in water along with crunches, push-ups, triceps dips, lunges and squat
However, the star had to wait six weeks before she could start the programme after giving birth to the adorable twins Monroe and Morrocan via Caesarean section.
She told the magazine: 'I gained an enormous amount of weight. I was scared I was never going to walk again.
'I feel incredible but it was a long road,' she says.
'Being pregnant felt longer than it was. It was a huge blessing to be able to have the babies but I felt trapped in my body because I couldn't move.'
