Victor Cruz Saves the New York Giants, Then Salsa Dances (VIDEO)

Wide Receiver Victor Cruz saved the New York Giants from an embarrassing defeat against the Miami Dolphins yesterday, with a 25 yard touchdown followed by his signature salsa dance.

With only 6 minutes left in the game, Victor Cruz caught a 25 yard pass from Eli Manning, spun off a tackle attempt by Will Allen and raced into the end zone to score the game-winning touchdown.

Then, Cruz broke into a salsa strut, his signature celebration, and one that he’s not going to change anytime soon.  As “My mother (Blanca Cruz), doesn’t want me to change it, so I’ve got to keep it now,” said Cruz.

Cruz ended the day with 7 completed passes for 99 yards, another positive result to one of the player’s most exciting seasons so far.  Thanks to Cruz’ skills the Giants defeated the Dolphins 20-17 and they have a 5-2 record leading the NFC East.
