Madonna Will Perform at the Super Bowl XLVI Halftime Show

Madonna (Getty Images) It's still yet to be determined which teams will battle for the trophy at the Super Bowl XLVI, but one thing's squared away: the halftime performer.

This year, Madonna will take the stage in Indianapolis on February 5, which is coincidentally just two days after the release of her latest directorial effort, the critically panned Wallis Simpson biopic W.E.

Fans can probably expect to see Madonna kick things off with a medley of her greatest hits before launching into some new material—hopefully not "Gimme All Your Love," the recently leaked track that sounds an awful lot like a Selena Gomez demo. She'll also probably be joined by some "hot and hip" new artists, i.e. her confirmed collaborators M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj, and she just may take a jab at Lady Gaga while she's at it.

Honestly, we wouldn't be surprised if she's got something stunty up her sleeve. She's got a movie to promote, you guys. At this point in her career, what could she do to shock you?
