Marc Anthony & Dayanara Torres Together Again?!

Marc Anthony and his first wife Dayanara Torres had a recent reunion… sort of.

People en Español is reporting that the Puerto Rican salsero rocked the house this past weekend at a concert in San Juan. That’s not news to us. What is news-worthy to us is that Torres was spotted at her 43-year-old ex-hubby’s concert. A video aired by Telefutura’s Tómbola shows the former Miss Universe near the front of the stage, smiling and bobbing to Anthony’s music.

At the concert held at the Coliseo José Miguel Agrelot, Torres was accompanied by Cristian, her eldest son with Anthony. According to Tómbola, Torres also hung out backstage at the concert. Torres married Anthony in 2000 and has two sons with him, Cristian Anthony and Ryan Anthony Muñiz. The couple separated twice before Torres finally filed for divorce in 2004.


Marc seems to be skilled at staying friends with his exes. Of course, the entire universe knows about Anthony’s divorce from superstar Jennifer Lopez. In a joint statement issued this past July, Anthony and J.Lo announced plans to split after seven years of marriage. After news broke of the divorce, Torres remained mum about it when sought out for comment. Her publicist told media that Torres “with all due respect, will not make any statement.”

Dayanara Torres Refuses to Comment on J.Lo/Marc Anthony Split

Marc Anthony's first wife, Dayanara Torres, has refused to comment on the salsa singer's announcement of his split with Jennifer Lopez. The former Miss Universe’s publicist issued a statement to the media that Torres “with all due respect, will not make any statement,” reports People en Español.

Torres married 42-year-old Anthony in 2000 and has two sons with him, Cristian Anthony Muñiz and Ryan Anthony Muñiz. The couple separated twice before Torres finally filed for divorce in 2004.

Four days after their divorce was finalized, Anthony married Lopez in Los Angeles. Torres has not always been so silent about her divorce from Anthony. In 2008, she cowrote a self-help book titled Married to Me: How Committing to Myself Led to Triumph After Divorce, in which she gives advice about finding happiness after divorce. Though she never named Anthony, she talked about how she spent days in bed after their split and how she felt the need to write a book when she went to the store and failed to find any resources for recent divorcées.
