So You Think You Can Dance Canada: And the winner is . . .

Jordan Clark is named Canada’s Favourite Dancer

After 1.6 million votes, contemporary dancer Jordan Clark, 19, from Tottenham, Ont., has been named Canada's Favourite Dancer on the So You Think You Can Dance Canada Season 4 finale

Jordan held her face in disbelief after host Leah Miller revealed the exciting news and the rest of the dancers held her high above their heads.

She blew kisses to the crowd as they chanted her name.

“I can’t even believe right now,” she screamed, with tears of elation streaming down her cheeks. Confetti rained down on the stage as she thanked the judges, her dance teachers, her family and the SYTYCDC family.

“We’re so proud of you,” Leah said.

Jordan now carries the title of Canada's Favourite Dancer and has won the $100,000 prize. Jordan and runner-up, Melissa Mitro will both drive away with a brand new Chevrolet Cruze.

Melissa, a 23-year-old contemporary dancer from Richmond Hill, Ont., was thrilled to also receive the $10,000 from the runners-up fund created by SYTYCDC's Executive Producer Sandra Faire.

This fund personally created by Sandra and husband, Ivan Fecan, also rewarded the remaining four finalists for their hard work. Matt Marr, 20, from Quispamsis, N.B., Lindsay Leuschner, 19, from Stouffville, Ont., Shane Simpson, 24, from Thornhill, Ont., and Ballroom dancer Christian Millette, 28, Montreal, Que., also received $5,000 each.

An expanded judging panel and a special surprise

Over the course of the two-hour Finale, the dancers performed the most memorable duets from Season 4 for judges Jean Marc Genereux, Tré Armstrong, Blake McGrath, Luther Brown and guest judges Rex Harrington, Sergio Trujillo, Mary Murphy, Sean Cheesman and Mia Michaels.

As a special surprise, in the second half of the show, Season 1’s winner Nico Archambault apologized for missing the show due to a performance of his own, but introduced the winners of Seasons 2 and 3, Tara-Jean Popowich and Denys Drozdyuk, who performed a spicy salsa number.
