The Clothing Show 2011

The Clothing Show celebrated it’s 34th year on May 27-29 featuring a mix of runway and all kinds of shopping available on the latest trend.

I had the opportunity to attend this show and must say I did not leave disappointed.  I even ended buying some t-shirts on impulse.  It did help however that they were offering some pretty good deals that were too hard to resist.

The runway was fabulous in the sense that it had trendy clothing that people could immediately buy at the show.  Another interesting part of the show was the make-up, courtesy of Chacha Cosmetics, added an edge and sexiness to the models.

There were a lot of designers showcasing their unique and unusual creations in the booths which made it an interesting blend with the runway.  You could just see the passion that went  into their designs by the pride that they had on their creations.

It was refreshing to see these budding success stories without any of the usual egos that are common with the famous designers.  The other good thing was that the show scheduled was really adhered to.  This is rare to see in runway shows but kudos to the organizers for respecting people’s time.

It was also great to be able to interact with the various designers.  The George Briggs collection caught my attention due to the uniqueness of their hand-painted apparel.  The T-shirts were one of a kind and really looked great.

Overall it was a well organized show with plenty of products and designs to please all fashion tastes.  Look forward to attending the next one.
