The eccentric singer has made her most iconic outfits available for small children. *But it's only a spoof.
It's not often we are treated to Lady Gaga's humorous, mickey-taking side, but the slave to style came up trumps on the Jimmy Kimmel Live chatshow in the US last night.
The five-time Grammy winner appeared on the programme to promote her new album - Born This Way - and slipped in a spoof video, entitled "Gaga Goo Goo babywear", musing on what her babywear line might entail.
The sketch revealed toddlers modelling miniature versions of her most outlandish fashions: kicking off with a baby dancing in the metallic green Alexander McQueen leotard and armadillo style shoes from the late designer's spring/summer 2010 collection. Next up was a rather immobile little one in the red lace "Halloween" costume - understandably so, as the look came complete with a full face veil as per Gaga's grown-up version.
The infamous "meat dress" from the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards was given a mini-makeover, complete with a mock-salami fascinator, while a rather unimpressed-looking child found it hard to manoeuvre the Kermit the Frog coat, made by the "Haus of Gaga". The sketch's finale featured an adorable baby in the Hussein Chalayan-esque "bubble dress", who managed to bust a few moves.
"Because we're born this way" is the well-though tagline at the finale - where Gaga clutches her mini-me clad in said bubble outfit.
Wearing a sculpted headress by Philip Treacy, which spelt out "Gaga", to appear on the show, the singer revealed how she would like to have children eventually : "Someday - a long, long day from now."
