The Best & Worst Dressed at the 2011 Latin Grammy Awards

From Demi Lovato in a plunging gown to Shakira in a glittery confection, check out which stars hit and which missed at the 2011 Latin Grammy Awards!

Best Dressed

Shakira

Shakira was pure gold at the Latin Grammys in a romantic sweetheart gown with a tulle train. To leave the focus on her gown's embellished bodice, she wisely opted against wearing a necklace. The pop sensation wore her honey blond locks in a tousled updo with lots of body.

Demi Lovato in Roland Mouret
Demi Lovato took the plunge at the Latin Grammy Awards by wearing her rasberry Roland Mouret gown backwards. She accented her revealing low-cut style with auburn ringlets and glossy red lips. Do you like Demi's risqué look?

Sofia Vergara in Reem Acra
In perhaps one of her best looks to date, Sofia Vergara made a major impact at the Latin Grammys in a stunning silver Reem Acra gown. Between its intricate embroidery and perfect fit, the Old Hollywood style was perfectly befitting of the voluptuous actress.

Zoe Saldana in Elie Saab
There's no question that Zoe Saldana made everyone else green with envy in an intricately beaded Elie Saab gown. The belted dress perfectly hugged the actress' svelte figure and was a knockout choice for the red carpet. Perfectly pretty curls and thick lashes finished off her look.

Worst Dressed
Silvia Navarro
Mexican actress Silvia Navarro embraced a futuristic minimalism on the red carpet in a minty cutout coat dress. To leave the focus on her rather unusual outfit, the star opted against wearing jewelry and swept her auburn locks into a low-key updo

Julie Ferretti
Julie Ferretti left little to the imagination at the Latin Grammys in an ultra low-cut orange gown. The revealing strapless dress exposed most of her decolletage as well as a good majority of her legs! A hard case clutch and curled side-swept 'do added polish to the bold loo

d'Manti
Actress and singer d'Manti made quite the impact at the Latin Grammys in an over-the-top gown. Featuring an embellished halter, the attention-grabbing mullet gown featured an impossibly long embroidered train and olive green bustles. The redhead finished off her puzzling look with a pair of strappy gold heels.

Prince Royce Becomes Top-Selling Latino Music Artist in U.S.

Miami –  Prince Royce is still celebrating the success of his first album, with which he has now become the only Latino artist of 2011 in the United States to go triple platinum by selling 300,000 copies.

"It means that dreams certainly can be made into reality. That there are people who still buy an album and that there are people who still consume music. And I don't think that's something that happens every day," the 22-year-old singer told Efe minutes before receiving the triple platinum certification awarded by the Recording Industry Association of America.

In the form of a plaque depicting three vinyl records, Royce received the recognition from the hand of his producer, Sergio George, at a ceremony in Miami.

He has been a phenomenon ever since he made his debut in the music industry in 2010 with the album bearing his name. The work was nominated for a Latino Grammy in 2010 for best contemporary tropical album and this year it took three Lo Nuestro prizes, four Billboard Latino prizes and four Juventud awards.

Royce confessed that he still gets very nervous at ceremonies such as the one he will share with Mana at the Nov. 10 Latin Grammy Award gala in Las Vegas.

For 2012, he is preparing his second album in Spanish and his first in English.
